Walk through With a Contractor

Alright so Thursday we're having a contractor walk through the white house to give us estimates on what it would cost to fix it all up. We've been brainstorming about what we want and have come up with everything from a working fireplace to a whole wall that is a TV, guess we'll just have to see how much that one costs before we decide :).

Here are some more pictures of the inside of the house, so you know just what the contractor is up against.

The fireplace!!! Okay this is one of those, I'd like to have it in working order, but we'll see how much it would cost to repair. I spy a little green plant sprotting inside!!!

The lovely kitchen with the half installed cabinets. I think we'll keep the linoleum, what do you think?

Master bedroom? Or at least one of the bedrooms. I think the creepy artwork will have to go :). More later . . .

Thanks for joining us in the quest for house ownership. We are thrilled to have all of your support--emotional, not financial. :) We really just want to use this space to provide photos and what-not so that even though you may not be in Tulsa you can still see what's going on in our life.

Houses we like...

This is one of the houses we are considering. It is pretty much finished but has some ugly interior decorating that would need to be redone. Nothing serious just some painting, etc. It has some major roof issues, though, so we'll have to keep that in mind.

Here is another one that we really liked. It is also in Owen Park and the inside needs to be completely redone. New sheetrock, new kitchen, new bathroom, etc. We may be crazy :)

This is the very first house we looked at. We think it has great character and would be a great place to live in IF it could be fixed up at a reasonable price. Looking at
